Founded in 1970, NvR Taxidermy holds a name for quality taxidermy, with local as well as international hunters. Our work is displayed in trophy rooms and museums all over the world.

Being a medium sized operation, we pride ourselves in attention to detail, be it large or small mounts, elephants or dung beetles... We deal in all aspects of taxidermy, from tanning of skins for rugs, skull mounts, shoulder, pedestal and fullmounts to combination/action mounts.

Forms are sculpted in house, so are specific to our studio, and different to ones commercially available in supply stores. Our staff is versed in the procedures and legal requirements for the im- and export of trophies, and take care of the required permits, provided your outfitter supplies the required documentation. Our base is outside Pretoria, about 40 minutes from OR Tambo Intl. Airport.
